Sledding...a not so successful endeavor

On December 29th I posted about snow. At the end of the post I mentioned that it was currently snowing and we were going to take the boys sledding, which I was looking forward to. Well we did, and I was very excited because it was the first time we'd ever taken the boys sledding! I anticipated that they'd love it...

Maybe it was the snowy wealthy, maybe it was the below freezing temperatures, maybe it was exhaustion from lots of holiday fun, maybe it was all three combined, but our sledding expedition only lasted a mere ten minutes. I think Christian had fun, for the short time, but Ethan wanted to go home the moment we got there, poor guy. I think he was just freezing! We spent the entire ten minutes trying to convince Christian to ride down the hill with one of us, or in different ways, which he eventually did each time and enjoyed it, but it was way too much effort for a "fun" activity. We also spent the entire ten minutes trying to convince Ethan to ride down the hill at all, which he reluctantly did, but didn't want to go again. Needless to say, we haven't been sledding since, but next time we go i assure you the sun will be out and the temps will be higher! Then I think we'll have a good time.

Third Trimester Reality Check

Warning: this is not too glamorous...read on at your own discretion. And it's not for sympathy, just for facts. Simply a post for my own records and posterity. You can just scroll down to the photo for proof that I really am pregnant, for those of you I never see. :)

I had a doctor appointment last week, during which they informed me I was in my third trimester (already? Really?), that i would now be seeing the doctor every TWO weeks instead of four (is it that time already?) and that i needed to do my glucose test within the next seven days or I could do it right then, which I promptly did. (Weird? I thought so, and was really nervous I wouldn't pass because I'd taken no precautions in my diet that morning, but lucky all the tests came back normal. Grateful for that!)

Whoa! Time is flying! Half of my reaction was "WHAT? I've got a big to-do list to do before this baby comes. It can't really be that time already? I need to get moving!" And the other half of me is relieved and wishes I was even closer to my due date, as I am certainly ready to have my non-pregnant body back.

To say the least, this has been my hardest pregnancy. Contributing factors: this is my third pregnancy, not my second or first, I'm that much older, and I have two vibrant little boys to keep up with daily. And the main factors: varicose veins and hip pain.

I developed varicose veins while I was pregnant with Ethan and they have returned with this pregnancy, only much worse. They have spread, both discreetly and non-discreetly, and therefore the pain and appearance is much worse. I still only have them on my left leg, but they have spread both up and down. As for the appearance, I'm not too concerned about it. After all, I put on a swimming suit weekly and take my boys to the pool in all my pregnant and varicose vein leg glory. (It's fun for them and feels so nice to be in the water...no pain!). But the pain is no fun. I pretty much have the leg pain under control, but unfortunately the varicosity has spread almost to my waist, and there is nothing you can do about that, except lay down. Ha. So on days that are rough, i try to entertain my boys and play with them as best I can from the couch. They are pretty good sports about it. Christian will continually pick up my darts as long as I keep shooting guns with him or build his marble run right next to the couch so I can help him. Ethan will bring me book after book to read to him or puzzle after puzzle to do with him. And eventually I usually end up giving in and getting off the couch to really play, like today when I even put on all my snow gear to go play in the snow with Christian. We had a great time!

On top of varicose veins, i get this sharp pain in my right hip, especially when I've been on my feet too long. I've had it with every pregnancy and only on my right hip, go figure.

So when they told me I needed to come back in two weeks, I really was quite shocked, but I'm also very excited for d-day to be here!

But p.s....I don't want to be a complainer. I really feel so blessed. This pregnancy could be much worse. I am grateful to be able to carry this baby; I am grateful that he is healthy and growing right on track; I am grateful that I feel him move and know that he is thriving; I am grateful that my past labors have been full term and gone very smoothly; I am grateful for the opportunity to bear children. I have much more to be grateful for than to complain about, and for that, I am very grateful.

And here I am at 28 weeks, in my third trimester! Wahoo! (I think this is the first "pregnancy" photo i have even taken this time around.)

My little bath buddies

Christian and Ethan don't always get along in the bath tub, but lately they have been having SO MUCH fun together! I think it has something to do with these two little squirting fishies I found in a box while cleaning. Such a simple thing, but they have provided hours of brotherly fun the last couple weeks. I simply shut the shower curtain to save the floor from turning into a lake, and these two little guys just have a ball. Christian's favorite thing to do is tell Ethan to say CHEESE and then Christian squirts him with the fishy. Ethan thinks it's absolutely hilarious, so everyone has fun! And Ethan is returning the favor as he gets better and better at filling up and squirting his own fishy. I love to hear these two laughing together.

I tried to get a picture of them in their towels, but they just wanted to look at themselves in the mirror.

Finally Ethan gave me a good cheese!

Los New Years Party

(Sally, Rosanna, and Camille in all our Los Hermanos glory! I especially love the white socks.)

For those of you who don't know, the majority of my growing up years were spent at Los Hermanos El Grande, a mexican restaurant that my parents owned and operated for eight years. I have lots of fun and fond memories of working there and eating there and hanging out there and eating there. I don't think my parents miss the demands and time commitment of running that restaurant, but we certainly all miss the food! So we try to have a Los night occasionally (never more than once a year--it's a ton of work for my parents!) and we were lucky to be here this year for the Los New Years Party!

Here is a sampling of the food (compliments to Melissa's camera and plate). The menu included taquitos, burritos, beans, rice, guacamole, Los salsa, and even fried ice cream! That was divine. I could have eaten every last one, but stopped at one to share the wealth. O how I love those! I think I used to eat one just about every time I worked, which was sometimes day! It's a wonder i never got fat... :)

The boys found this box of bracelets, glasses and accessories, and Jake snapped some most priceless pictures of Ethan! I believe those glasses were once Rosanna's REAL glasses...how embarrassing! :)

We were having a little too much fun with the glasses, especially Melissa with her camera and jake with his scruff. (Thanks for letting me steal these pics, Melissa!)

I'm not really sure who this guy is....a bum? A character out of Napoleon Dynamite? You decide. And i think jake is going to kill me for posting this picture.... :)

All in all, it was an excellent New Years! We had a fabulous time and enjoyed all the delicious food! Melissa especially enjoyed the company of her favorite sister. :)

And even Ethan enjoyed the yummy mexican food!

Thanks for all the work you put into this Mom and Dad!

Some Firsts For Us

This past weekend was a big weekend for us. We found and BOUGHT a second car, a Toyota Sienna, and it is now in our possession. It still doesn't seem real. This is such a big big deal for a few reasons...

1. This is our very FIRST car purchase in our six years of marriage. Jake brought our Honda Accord into the marriage and it's been our one and only trusty car ever since. She's a champ! And as a side note, buying it wasn't the most pleasant experience. Shouldn't buying a car be fun? It was more stressful than fun, I'd say. But at least it's fun to have it now!

2. This is the very FIRST time we have owned two cars. It's been so nice these few days just to know we could go somewhere at any moment, and not have had to plan ahead to take Jake to work, etc. It's like a whole new world of possibilities has just opened up to me. I think I'm going to like it. (Side note: although we were excited to get a second car, we were still second guessing at the last minute...are we sure we want one more car? It's just been so nice to have one: one car to maintain, one car to insure, one car to gas up, etc. It's really been quite economical. And we've lasted this long....but alas, we decided it's time to make the jump to two.)

3. This is the very FIRST time we have driven anything but a Honda Accord. And we took the jump to a minivan! I still can't believe we are minivan owners, but I know we are going to love it and have lots of great family memories in it. But it still feels a little weird....and as my sister said, it changes who you are when you own a minivan! :) But i also suppose it changes who you are when you have your third child. It's a wonderful thing and we love seeing our family grow.

As I'm sure you can imagine, the boys love the new van!

Today I was trying to get Christian to run errands with me and he didn't want to until he realized we could ride in the new van! Then he jumped up and was all willing and ready.

Yesterday we went through the drive through at the bank, and as we were waiting for the teller to send my receipt and, of course, suckers back to us, Christian whispered from behind, "Tell them we have a new van." He loves it, loves to show it off, and loves to explore it every time when get in. So if you want a tour, he'd be happy to give you one. He's an expert.

On Sunday, as we were driving to my parents for a birthday dinner and Aunt Melissa was riding along, Christian said to her, "This is a fast van, don't you think?"

If you ask Christian his favorite thing about the van, he'll tell you the movie. Yes, there is a DVD player in the van, as much as I'd rather not have one. My boys have never watched videos in the car and I don't want to start. My plan was not to let Christian know it was a DVD player, so he'd never ask, but that plan was foiled when our annoying car salesman spent the entire test drive in the backseat with the boys watching Finding Nemo, laughing at and quoting the part where they touch the "butt" (my boys don't even know that word, and I'd prefer you not put it in their vocabulary, thank you!) and talking about how cool it was. That is the last time it has been turned on and we've explained to Christian that it's only for special occasions, like REALLY long rides in the car. And I plan to keep it that way. But at least we got a complimentary Finding Nemo DVD! :)

At Christmastime, whenever Jake would ask me what I wanted for Christmas, my response was, "A car. That's all I want." And then I told him I was expecting a set of keys under the tree. :) Well, I didn't get my Christmas wish, but we made it a goal to get one between Christmas and New Years. We made a valiant effort, but New Years came and went and we were still without a second car. So then I started getting the "What do you want for your birthday?" question. My answer? The same: "A car. That's all I want." But I was pretty sure it wouldn't happen, because we'd decided exactly what we wanted, and we were just watching online and waiting for the right deal to come along. And then all of a sudden it did! So we went and looked at it Wednesday, test drove it and bought it on Thursday, then on Saturday we brought home our very own Toyota Sienna, just in time. Happy birthday to me!

We're officially private.

I know it's been more than six months since I posted that we're going private, but the other night Jake informed me that he wanted to post his jury story on here and so he went and made our blog private. :) Hopefully you will still want to keep up with us, even though you have to sign in now! And stay tuned for the jury story....

Cause and Effect

Lately I have been doing some science experiments around here and I've come to a few conclusions:

THE WASHING MACHINE EXPERIMENT;

If the washing machine lid is open and there are clothes anywhere within reach, ethan will put them in the washer, clean or dirty, washing or still.

If the washing machine lid is open and full of water and washing, then Ethan will even sacrifice his maya to have one more item to put in. It is just too tempting.

If the washing machine lid is open and Ethan is carrying around the iTouch, then it will find its way into the washer as well.

If the iTouch gets wet, although not fully submersed thanks to the towels and the water not being filled all the way, then it will dry out, but it will not resurrect itself.

If you take your iTouch back to the Apple store within eleven days of the warranty expiring, then they will give you a brand new one on the spot. And THEN you will feel very lucky.

A FEW MORE CONCLUSIONS:

If you have two little boys, then they will come up with ways to use things that you would have never thought of. Like using a hot wheels car instead of a ball in a their new mini fusball table.

If Ethan learns to open doors all by himself (which he has), then you no longer have any privacy while taking a shower and you decide it is time to go buy so doorknobs that LOCK!

If Christian is sick, then he will nap.

If you hold Ethan's hand while he walks, then it doesn't count as "walking." And he insists on walking in all parking lots.

If Christian and Ethan both get the same amount of sleep, no matter how much, then Christian will be ornery in the morning and Ethan will be happy. Two completely opposite personalities. (On rare occasions, Christian can be super chipper and so fun to wake up to.)

If we have no where to go and I am pregnant, then I will most likely be wearing my comfy pants and fleece pullover all day.

If you are still reading these, then you are truly dedicated, or have nothing else to do, or are avoiding studying. :)

Hair dying

Over the Christmas break we had a couple vagabonds sleeping at our house throughout the week. We loved having the company at our house and the boys loved having their two favorite aunts coming and going. One night the three of us decided to dye our hair. Although Melissa's looks purple, they all turned out pretty cute and non-purple, even though Jake keeps telling me my hair is too red. Thanks for a fun night, girls!

Camille, Camille and Melissa!

Megan's Baptism

(Thanks again to Melissa, for providing the pictures for this post....)

My oldest niece is eight years old! I can't believe how fast time flies. I remember being a freshman at BYU when she was born and falling in love with being her aunt immediately. Has it really been eight years? It was really neat to be a part of that special day. We are so proud of you, Megan!

And here is Melissa with her favorite sister. :D

Shannon's wedding

Thanks to Meliss i have some photos from this day...

The happy couple with all the cousins in attendance.

Mom and daughters in our coordinating outfits. I love this pic! Sally, your presence was missed.

We attended the sealing and then were lucky enough to join the luncheon at the Lion House. Thank you to Aunt Camille for thing the boys for me!

I think the most memorable part of the day was my thigh-high compression hose that did not want to stay up. They were driving me crazy and Melissa loved that i looked like an old lady with my stockings around my ankles. Eventually i just gave up. Note to self: never wear those unless they have just been washed and dried.

Christian's preschool artwork

I have been hanging up Christian's artwork from preschool, but the door is full and we need some more space. So we took some pictures of his cute artwork and said goodbye.

Artwork from September through December 2010.

And of course, Ethan didn't want to be left out.

Photo Shoot

Back in October I took the boys to a park and attempted to get some cute pictures of them. I had only a couple good (and focused) shots, but lots of others that I had to include because they captured my little guys just as they are.

These were taken on October 21st. Christian was two months shy of four years old and Ethan was 19.5 months. I was having a really hard time getting Ethan to smile for me. Luckily he found a cat and that is they only way i got him to smile! I definitely needed a second person with me to make faces behind the camera.

These are the pictures I used for the wall hangings Jake's mom gave us for Christmas, and the best ones I could get.

And this picture i just love...not the perfect one, but perfect expressions from both boys. Ethan who refused to smile for me, and Christian forcing the smile, tired of taking pictures. :)

I think these little guys are so handsome. :D

Anniversary Celebrations

For the first time in four years we celebrated our anniversary. Last year we went to dinner, but took our kids with us. The year before that, we had just bought and moved into a house and Jake was working crazy hours. I don't remember if we did anything at all, probably nothing more than watching a movie once Christian was in bed. Three years ago i spent the day in my pajamas, sick and exhausted from moving, and packing to fly to Utah the next day. I don't think I even took a shower that day. And the year before that i was four days away from delivering Christian, but we did manage to go out to dinner and a movie. :). So this year was a big deal to me and we had a wonderful time! I used to say that December was such a fun time to get married, but a horrible time to have an anniversary, but now I think it's also a fun time to have an anniversary, just as long as you make sure to really celebrate it. :)

For the first time since having children, we left our boys overnight and spent the night without them. We went to the temple, which was quite eventful--meeting two different people who had connections to the Merkley family, me passing out in the sealing room, and running into my visiting teacher from Atlanta, who I love! Afterwards we went to dinner, walked around temple square and saw the beautiful Christmas lights, and walked across the street from Little America where we were staying to the Grand America to see their Christmas windows and gingerbread house displays. The next morning we most importantly SLEPT IN! Eventually we went and got breakfast, did some last minute birthday shopping for Christian (and found an awesome deal on his bike), then went snow shoeing in our new snowshoes that Jake had given us for our anniversary/Christmas present.

It was so fun to get away and actually celebrate our anniversary. Thank you to aunt Camille for taking such good care of our boys!

Happy Anniversary Jake! Thanks for such a fun anniversary together. It's been the best six years of my life! I love you!

No more Mia!

Ethan has made a big step in growing up. He no longer has a Mia, also known by some as a binky or a paci.

Last week as we were putting the boys to bed Jake noticed that Ethan had bitten through his mia to the point that it was barely hanging on. This is a familiar story, as it's the same way that Christian broke the paci habit, only Christian was on his very last one, and there was no other choice. So when Jake noticed that Ethan's mia was hanging on by a thread, he told him he had to go throw it in the garbage. Christian was quick to escort him and give him the big brother moral support. And that was that. He went to bed that night without his mia and even napped the next day without it. I give full credit to Jake for having the confidence that he'd be just fine, when I am always the hesitant one. Ethan actually still has two mias left but it looks like they are going to be retired because he hasn't looked back since. And if you ask him where his mia is, he'll tell you it's in the "garbeege." What a big boy!

Thank heavens he still has his maya (a.k.a. Blankie) because otherwise I'd think he was growing up too fast. His maya still keeps him little. :)

The story continues...

I thought the bathroom mischief story from yesterday was concluded, but little did I know what was in store for me this morning....

During breakfast Christian needed to go potty, a normal occurrence during a meal. It's quite convenient too because the bathroom is right next to our dining table. Anyway, after going potty and upon exiting the bathroom Christian informed me that he was not going to flush. (That should have clued me in, because he's usually pretty good at flushing the toilet, but i was too slow this morning.). I insisted he flush, so he went back into the bathroom, flushed and shut the door, then returned to his breakfast. After finishing, he cleared his dishes and headed upstairs.

It wasn't until I was getting Ethan out of his highchair that i noticed this big wet spot on the floor by Christian's chair, which also happens to be by the bathroom door. My first reaction was, "what did he spill?" until i realized all the carpet by the bathroom door was SOAKING wet. Afraid to confirm my fear of what had happened, I opened the bathroom door, only to find it was just as I'd suspected. Suddenly everything was making sense...that's why Christian didn't want to flush the toilet and THAT'S what was really going on yesterday in the bathroom when I was hearing all that giggling. Oh boy, what a mess: the entire bathroom floor was covered in an inch of water, not to mention the sopping wet carpet outside the bathroom, the toilet was FILLED with toilet paper, and then I remembered they'd been playing with wipes and I never did find what they'd done with them, so apparently they must have been in the toilet too. I had checked the bathroom after the mischief went on, but never opened the toilet lid, so I had assumed they hand gotten into as much trouble as I thought they had. Little did I know.

So what did I do? First and foremost, I made Christian come back downstairs to see the mess he had caused and the effects of filling the toilet with toilet paper and wipes, hoping that this will encourage him to never do it again, and never let Ethan do it again either. Next I plunged, figuring that I may as well take the risk of overflowing the toilet again while the floor was still soaked. After a few plunges and near overflows, you know what came back up the toilet? The cardboard toilet paper tube! Oh boy, those two little monkeys are trouble together.

Fortunately, it eventually flushed clean without overflowing again and after five sopping full size towels, the mess was cleaned up, although the carpet still remains a bit damp.

The part that makes me laugh is imagining the scene that went on. Christian is not really a trouble maker on his own, and never really has been. I assure you that Ethan was the ring leader of the operation and Christian just joined the fun and helped make the mess bigger. Fortunately, no permanent damage was done and i still have the memory of hearing my two boys laughing and giggling together. (That's not to say that I wasn't a little upset at the time, at that I didn't lose it when they made a big wet mess while in the tub after the flood mess--it was the last straw--but it's already a funny story now.) :)

And now my thought is, "What am I going to do with THREE trouble makers?". :)

A Long Day...

...that produced some pretty cute pictures.

Today was a long day. By 9:00 we had already eaten and cleaned up breakfast, gotten dressed, and done multiple activities, including a long session of play dough. And I was already falling asleep if I'd sit down. I was exhausted today. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Christian has been sleeping with his new CTR ring from primary, and then waking up in the middle of the night looking for it, or maybe it's because Ethan's been waking up at 5:45 every morning, or maybe it's because a I'm just tired...at any rate, today i was exhausted.

Christian dressed himself today and insisted on wearing shorts. I insisted on him wearing pants...it's been so cold outside! So we compromised. He picked out his entire outfit, and insisted that the shorts and t-shirt be on the top. He was stylin'.

Luckily Christian came up with the idea to make paper airplanes, which provided for hours of entertainment. Ethan's favorite thing to do was climb up the stairs and sit with his feet poking through the railing and thrown his airplane down. I fact he loves to do this on a daily basis, not necessarily needing an airplane to throw down. These pictures I took of him and Christian doing this are priceless!

These two cute boys had way too much fun together today. After lunch i was upstairs folding some laundry listening to Christian and Ethan laughing as they threw the MANY wipes they had pulled out of the package one by one onto the stairs. They thought this was hilarious. This was mischief number one, as I had already taken away to rest of the package to salvage what was left. Listening from upstairs I could tell their location had changed, but the giggling continued, and seemed even more suspicious. I was enjoying the sound of their laughter together so much that I avoided going down to disturb the fun. Eventually I called to Christian to find out what they were doing, and i learned they'd been playing in the toilet-- yuck! They immediately came upstairs to share their fun with me and Ethan headed straight to the bathroom again, to splash in the toilet! That was when the fun ended and i refused to let it go on anymore. I changed Ethan's soaked clothes and put him down for a nap.

All in all we survived the day. Christian played in the snow for a brief moment while Ethan napped until he decided he'd rather ride his bike. Unfortunately there is still snow covering the sidewalks, but he compromised on the garage as a place to ride. we are definitely looking forward to warmer weather! (and having another car so we're not stranded at home for days in a row)

I looked out the window and saw Christian crawling across the snow. He turned around just in time to see me try to snap a photo. That sight certainly brightened my day!

I took this picture because Ethan looked so cute snuggled in his "Maya" on the couch after his nap. He usually takes a while to wake up (and cheer up) once he wakes up from his nap and today he was spent the time just sitting on the couch watching Christian throw his paper airplane.

And now, i'm way past my bedtime, especially since i was already so tired! This post may not make any sense when I read it in the morning. Goodnight!

Christmas

Christmas Eve highlights:
-cleaning the house!
-Jake baking the birthday cake
-mommy and Christian delivering treats together
-enjoying a gourmet dinner at the Merkleys (of which Ethan ate only bread), rice cream, playing Christmas songs on Grammy's chimes, and new jammies for the boys from Grammy. We got home late for bedtime, so we quickly made a cookie and carrot plate for Santa and then put the boys to bed.

Christmas highlights:
-we were lucky to have the boys sleep in until 7:30 (a Christmas miracle!)
- The boys found spinous, silly putty for Christian and a motorcycle for Ethan, and some soft animals that have magnets in their hands a feet in their stockings. The slinkys were an instant hit and kept them entertained while I got the muffins in the oven. The animals have since become another huge hit, as Christian loves throwing his giraffe at the stair railing to make it stick.
-The boys also found a car rug and imitation knockoff nerf guns from Santa. Another huge succes
-new matching monkey slippers for the boys!

-eating applesauce muffins for breakfast and singing to Christian who had birthday candles in his muffin
-Grammy, Papa, Connor and Camille stopped by before they headed to Milwaukee to see baby Nora
-Christmas dinner/lunch at the Gurrs

-Decorating an awesome golf birthday cake
-celebrating Christian's fourth birthday!
-eating a birthday dinner--German pancakes and smoothies
-watching christian's expression when he got a new bike!

Christian's 4th Birthday

Dear Christian,

You were born on Christmas day and it was the greatest Christmas present we have ever been given. You are special, that day was special, and we think it is so special that you have a Christmas birthday. We hope you always think that too.

This year you had a fabulous day. We woke up to Santa's arrival and enjoyed the presents under the tree. For breakfast we had our favorite applesauce muffins, but yours was topped with four birthday candles and we sang to you before you blew them out. Grammy, Papa, and Connor were also here to help us sing. After scarfing down your muffin, it was back to the Christmas presents.

Later in the morning we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's, where we had Christmas lunch/dinner and opened a few more presents. Upon returning, I spent the rest of the afternoon decorating your golf course cake (which you specifically requested) and getting dinner ready, while Ethan napped and you and Daddy built the mini fusball table you just got from Grandma and Grandpa. I let you choose anything you wanted to eat, so for your birthday dinner we had german pancakes and smoothies. An excellent choice! I think you ate at least half the pan. They are definitely a favorite of yours.

Although you had probably already opened more than enough presents for one day, you were still excited about opening your birthday presents. You received a game, some musical instruments, a blanket, a play tent and tunnel, and a Curious George DVD, but the highlight of the gifts was definitely your new bike!! It was so much fun to see you so excited about it! You have already ridden outside a few times, but we have been getting tons of snow, so that's not really an option this week, although you have asked every day.

The last big event of the day was the birthday cake! You requested a golf course cake a few weeks ago and so Daddy and I put our creativity together and came up with this! I think you were pretty happy with it. After the birthday song and blowing out the candles, we let you choose any pice of the cake to eat---you chose the corner piece where the candle had been. You silly boy! But you devoured every piece of it, along with two helpings of mint chocolate chip or "green" ice cream. It really was yummy cake, so good thing we had Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Camille there to help us eat some of it!

On Christmas Eve I took you to the store with me and let you pick out your very own birthday balloon, and you found the perfect one---a golf balloon!

Overall, you had a wonderful day. I think the highlight of our whole day was the new bike!

We are so happy that four years ago you were born into our family on Christmas day. It has been the happiest four years of our lives.
Christian, you are a happy, sweet, stubborn, bright, and fun little boy. You strengthen us, challenge us, teach us, make us laugh, and bring us unimaginable joy. We love you more than you can ever imagine. You have learned, grown and changed so much since you turned three, it's hard to believe it's only been a year!

Happy Birthday, Big guy! We love you!

Love, Mommy (and Daddy too)
