Sometimes I think my life is hard, and find too many things to complain about. This morning, I wonder why I think that sometimes. Stephanie Nielson was in a bad plane crash, received severe burns, and was in a coma for three months. She has four kids and she counts her motherhood as a privilege. Watch this amazing video and be reminded of what life is truly all about.
Thank you, Lindy, for bringing this to my attention and tears to my eyes. Today will be a good day, no matter what it brings. I see my children through new eyes.

And dress your kids up in their oh-so-cute snowsuits.
Ethan wasn't so sure about it. It definitely took longer to get him dressed than the actual time he spent outside in the snow. Was it worth it?
Absolutely.
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
When spring brings you snowflakes, make a snowman.
(If you click on the picture above, you will notice the snow man's eyes. I asked Christian what we should use to make the eyes, and he said, "Snow!" Then proceeded to give him snowball eyes. Genius. He also made his nose and arms.)
